How fresh is the coffee? ↓
Roasted to order, shipped within 48 hours of roasting. We don't warehouse beans. Your roaster ships direct. You'll typically receive coffee that's 3–5 days post-roast — the sweet spot for most brewing methods.
Can I choose my roast level? ↓
Each month's selections are curated — that's the point. We're not a build-your-own service. If you prefer lighter or darker roasts, note it when you sign up and we'll weight our selection accordingly. But the discovery element stays intact.
How do I skip or pause a month? ↓
Log in to your account before the 15th of the month and hit Skip. You won't be charged. No penalty, no guilt email. You can pause for up to 3 months at a time; after that it reverts to active.
What if I don't like a bag? ↓
Tell us. We'll note your feedback and use it to calibrate future selections. Transparency runs both ways — if something genuinely wasn't good, we need to know. We can offer a credit on a case-by-case basis for legitimate quality issues.
When does my box ship? ↓
Subscriptions ship in the first week of each month. You'll get a tracking email when it goes out. First-month orders ship within 5 business days of signup.
Is this whole bean or pre-ground? ↓
Whole bean by default — this is how we guarantee freshness. If you need pre-ground, tell us your preferred grind size (drip, pour-over, espresso, French press) and we'll accommodate. Pre-ground loses flavor within 2 weeks; we'll still grind fresh per-order.
Can I give this as a gift? ↓
Yes. Gift subscriptions (3, 6, or 12 months) are available. Contact us at brewbridge@polsia.app and we'll set it up with a gift card and custom note.
